The Spreignight Racers squad is focused and has big goals for the tournament. 6 high school students from Al Ain Juniors School make up our team. They all have a wonderful attitude toward innovative solutions and a range of skills. Considering the aforementioned, it is not unexpected that our goal is to win the F1 in Schools global championship in 2024.

Mr. Edrian is the pioneering coordinator of the F1 in Schools program at Al Ain Juniors School, bringing both innovation and leadership to the initiative. Known for his charismatic presence, Mr. Edrian is a strict and serious teacher within the classroom, maintaining high standards for his students. However, outside the classroom, he is known to be funny and fun to be with, endearing himself to students and colleagues alike. A fan of mangas and manhuas, Mr. Edrian enjoys immersing himself in these stories. He also has a passion for traveling, with Pakistan being his favorite country so far.

Matheen, the new transferee, has quickly become a beloved member of the group with his cheerful nature. While he sometimes goes AWOL, he easily warms up to everyone and fits right in.

Sawveez stands out with his strong charisma and exceptional public speaking skills. Excelling both academically and in extracurricular activities, he currently serves as the Secretary General of AJB MUN. An F1 fanatic and a football enthusiast, Sawveez is highly competitive and aspires to become a doctor. Despite having been the shortest in the group, he has outgrown this distinction and continues to shine brightly.

FAQ

The unique worldwide multidisciplinary challenge, F1 in SchoolsTM, involves teams of students, ages 9 to 19, using CAD/CAM software to work together to design, analyze, produce, test, and ultimately race tiny F1 cars made of balsa wood and compressed air.

A team needs to include three to six people. To make sure everything goes as planned, each team member should have a distinct job.

Every year, the World Finals are held in a new site. Usually, the locations are chosen to align with a Formula One Grand Prix. Previous destinations include Austin, USA; Singapore; London, England; Melbourne, Australia; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

A team must first participate in regional and national intra-country competitions. Subsequently, the top teams from each nation will be nominated and given the opportunity to compete against teams from across the globe in the F1 in Schools World Finals.

You will register as a team to play in your local regional final, where you will face off against other local teams. The UK National Final is where regional winners square off against one another for the title of UK National Champions. This process is carried out in more than 40 nations, with National Champions from each nation being selected to participate in the World Finals, where they will face off to win the F1 in Schools World Champions trophy and the title of F1 in Schools World Champions. The 2017–18 challenge surpassed all expectations, resulting in 51 teams from 23 nations competing in the Malaysian World Finals. The current World Champions are Hyperdrive from Australia. This year, we are expanding further and hope to have even more countries taking part in the 2018 World Finals in Singapore, in what will be a spectacular competition.
